Due to the efforts and enthusiasm of our dynamic team, as well as our affiliate programs, we can proudly say that we are one of the principal social networking sites in the world.

The service was founded towards the end of 2003 by a group of talented Internet and social media devotees who had developed a new business model. Moving away from the traditional dating services, Wamba created a new concept for social networking with free access to basic services and the possibility of premium and paid additional features. Since then, we became the flagship of social dating sites, changing the perception of meeting new people online.

We feel confident and satisfied to know that our platform is a success. At the beginning we were able to provide just a few services. However, the demand of our users has enabled us to create new features and applications to satisfy their needs and wants. In 2007, several new services were created. Since then, the number of services has increased by double; some of our most popular ones include sending other users virtual gifts, sending ‘Icebreakers’, which help those shy users to start a conversation, or activating VIP status to help users become more noticeable and popular.

Currently, we provide an integrated social networking service, with 23 million active users, 3 million unique visitors per day, 1 000 000 online users and at an average of 30 minutes per visit. We have achieved this in just nine years; goals which will be reset in the near future to achieve even greater results and become one of the main social dating sites on a global level.
